Dear HAGI members,

We are please to announce that the Indonesian Association of Geophysicits (HAGI) will conduct the 37th Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan Himpunan Ahli Geofisika Indonseia or 37th PIT HAGI, which will be held at Novotel Hotel, Palembang South Sumatera on September 10 – 14, 2012, with theme of the event Unconventional and Renewable Energy.

Technical Program Committe would like to invite you to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations to “37th PIT HAGI”. Submissions of abstracts must be written in acceptable English. They must contain good-quality graphics and relevant references to support the text. Acceptance of abstracts would be selected on condition of maximum 300 words, covering objectives, methods,results and conclusions. Abstracts should not contain figures. Authors shuould indicate his/her preference in presenting the paper as oral presentation or poster.

Technical Session Topics Include:

• Unconventional and New-Renewable Energy

• Geodynamics, Seismology, Volcanology

• G&G Methods: Techniques, Workflows and Case Studies

• Advances in Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing

• Application of Other Geophysical Data

• Environmental Geophysics and Hazard Mitigation

• Atmospheric Science

• Oceanography

• Energy Resources Management

Suggestions for additional topics are welcome. Your support and contribution to the success of 37th PIT HAGI is highly appreiated.

• Acceptance Announcement : 23rd April 2012

• Extended Abstract : 14th June 2012
